road trip to Cali!

734 Manzanita Drive. That's where we stayed. Can you believe it? Finding these little cottages online? Great! After all that driving to get there, we finally made it! We got to our cottages, unloaded our things, and decided to look around. We drove down to the beach and walked around. The beach was beautiful.

The next couple of days we shopped and played on the beach. We found these great boogie boards to play with.
They were a blast! The first day on the beach we all got pretty sun burnt. But, I guess that part of it right?
Laying out on the beach, reading in the backyard on a blanket, going to Johnny Rockets, or even just talking. It was all pretty fun. We loved it!

Some great R&R down there, but we're glad to be home.
It was a blast!

easter sisters

Once again, East the queens of the pool...

PROVO- It doesn't matter if they're the reigning state champions. it doesn't matter if they if they have a handful of the best swimmers in the state. It doesn't matter that their school name was announced as podium finishers on a regular basis Saturday at Brigham Young's Richards Building Pool.
For the most part, the East Leopards don't like to know the overall team score. This tactic was apparent on the final day of Class 4a girls state championship, as coach Mark Gray didn't want any of his swimmers to know where they stood during the final day.
Maybe he's on to something.
With that strategy, the Leopards didn't give any challengers a chance to play spoiler, winning three of the final seven events - as well as garnering two runner-up finishes - to score 372 points and capture back-to-back state champions.
Thats about East High Girls Leopards winning State Back-to-back. (06-07/07-08)
