Labor Day Weekend

Our family went up to the cabin for Labor Day! It was so fun! Full with games, smores, talking, movies, and laughing! We love it.

Calvin Close finishes his LeConte Stewart painting

I've always admired this painting by LeConte Stewart titled, "Private Car" which is owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Recently, it was hanging at the Museum of Fine Arts at the University of Utah. I asked the museum if I could take a few picture of the painting and to my surprise they said,"Yes"! I down loaded these photos to my laptop computer and consulted them so that the correct color hues would translate from laptop to canvas. Sam has been so great in Spain! He is loving every minute he is there. He loves his companions, and the Elders he serves with. He is such a great missionary. He arrives in Barcelona, August 25th! He loves the mission!! We are so excited for him!

Happy Birthday Luke! 17 years wahoo! We love ya! Love all your fans! After cake and ice cream the gang went up to the East High Soccer field and did a slip & slide. Oh to be 17 again.
